Herbal Consultations
A Herbal Consultation is a confidential, one-on-one session during which we explore your health goals and concerns. I provide protocols that include herbal formulas, and in some cases supplements, food, and lifestyle recommendations crafted specifically for you.
Everyone is unique - so too is every herbal protocol.
Herbalists are sometimes called matchmakers between plants and people, selecting and combining herbs to match your constitution, energetics, and physiology. Working from a client-centered and trauma-informed approach, I believe that you are the expert on your body and your experience. I strive to make recommendations that resonate for you, and feel accessible and feasible to integrate into your lifestyle.
Great times to consider working with a herbalist include:
Support for navigating a recent diagnosis or change in health status
Support and strategies for long term management of a chronic condition
Times of transition, including: menopause/andropause, pre- and post-natal care, gender transition, major life changes, grief and loss.
Periods of increased stress
Recovery from burnout
Before or after a surgery
For general or preventative care
To develop a deeper sense of self-knowledge and body literacy

Pricing & Consultation Type
Comprehensive Initial Intake
90 minutes / $135
During the intake we take a deep dive into your health history and your personal health goals and concerns. After the session you receive an individualized protocol detailing your formulas, including dosages and preparation instructions; this can be brought to an apothecary if your formulas are not being filled by me, or kept for personal reference. The fee for an initial consultation covers the hours in session, and time spent on formulation and protocol formation.
Follow-up Consultation
45-60 minutes / $55-$95*
*Payments operate on a sliding scale.
Follow ups make space for a long-term deeper healing process. During a follow-up, we examine shifts that have come up for you after taking your formulas, alongside anything new that has emerged that you would like to focus on. As personal circumstances change, so too may the plants that will best support you. The goal is that the herbal care you receive remains in tune with what is most present for you.
Herbs
$30-$100+
The cost of herbs is separate from the consultation, and is typically in the range of $30-$100 per month. I take into consideration your budget during the formulation process.
Clarity Call
15 minutes / free
If you’re interested in working with herbs but not quite sure what that would look like, I’ve got you covered. A Clarity Call is a free, informal conversation to help us both get a sense of whether working together is the right fit.
Cancellation Policy
Except in emergency situations, I request that you give no less than 24 hours’ notice in the event of cancellation. Otherwise, a $40 cancellation fee will apply. This allows others to book this time, and ensures the sustainability of my living.
Not located in Montreal? Not to worry!
I do virtual or phone consultations with clients from across Canada, the United States, and sometimes farther. I use a secure and encrypted online platform to ensure the privacy of your health information. I also provide sourcing options so that you can support trusted apothecaries and medicine makers local to your area, or have them shipped in from elsewhere.
Please note that I do not diagnose or directly treat disease. I make assessments of imbalances based on your individual patterns and physiologic presentation, and provide recommendations for how to best support your healing process.

What is a Sliding Scale, and Why is it Important?
In an effort to reduce the socio-economic and systemic barriers to care, my consultation fees operate using a sliding scale. In the sliding scale model, individuals are asked to pay according to a self-assessment of their available resources. This is in the spirit of providing equitable rather than equal access, ensuring that people of a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds can access services without bearing inordinate financial burden. The high end of the scale represents the full or “true” cost of the service; those able to pay on the higher end of the scale increase the accessibility of care for individuals facing systemic marginalization.
The Green Bottle Model of the sliding scale was articulated by Alex J. Cunningfolk, who has written extensively on the sliding scale model as a means of addressing disparities in access to services. The below chart can be used as a guide when placing yourself on the sliding scale. Where you land may change from session to session as personal circumstances shift. I provide identical services to all clients, regardless of where you land on the pay structure.
Questions of financial access are complex and multifactorial; please contact me if you need help placing yourself on the scale, or if finances are a barrier to accessing my services.
